Car Rider Information

At South Harrison, we take safety very seriously. To this end, we have created traffic flows for morning drop off and afternoon pick up that serve to keep everyone safe while expediting the overall process. Please review the route and procedures below and let us know if you have any questions.

Morning Drop Off

Car riders may be dropped off no earlier than 7:15 AM.

For families dropping off elementary students only, please use the west entrance and remain in the single-file line. School personnel will release the students from the car, and they will enter at Door 4.

For families dropping off junior-senior high school students, please use the east entrance and release ALL students at the sidewalk near the front entrance. Elementary students will enter the building by the front door. Junior-senior high school students will remain under the front awning until they can board their buses. The junior-senior high buses leave HWES at 7:23 AM. Please be careful dropping off due to morning congestion.

Afternoon Pick Up

Dismissal times are as follows:
- 2:30 PM on Mon-Thu
- 1:40 PM on Fridays

Please enter the parking lot and follow the route indicated by the red arrows - staying in a single-file line.

Please pull up to Door 4.

School personnel will direct the students to the correct vehicle.

Please wait for school personnel to dismiss you.

Follow the route indicated by the red arrows pulling back out onto Heth Washington Rd.
