students putting food in boxes

Last week, SCES honor society students traveled to Corydon to volunteer at the Harrison County Community Services Center. They helped put together food boxes for delivery to people in the community and helped to sort clothes for the Clothes Closet. Harrison County Community services serves more than 1 million pounds of food each year, and I appreciate all the hard work of our student volunteers last Wednesday! Thank you!

Just a reminder that the Mobile Food Pantry travels to SCES on the 2nd Saturday of each month (even summer). They pull up to the front of the elementary school from 2:00-3:20pm. Please let friends and neighbors know about this program as well!
