South Harrison Community School Corporation will have a synchronous, live instruction eLearning day Tuesday, February 19, 2025. Please reference communication from your teacher for eLearning expectations & requirements.
Today (2/18) will be synchronous live instruction. This means students will need to log on each period and the teacher will take attendance. Please make sure your child is on their google meet at the following time:
1- 8:25-8:50
2- 8:55-9:20
3- 9:25-9:50
4-9:55-10:20
5- 10:25-10:50
6- 10:55-11:20
7- 11:25-11:50
Teachers will be available 12:30-2:30 for any questions. Prosser will also have live instruction so please log on during their hours!
We will have a 2 hour delay Monday, 2/17. We will use the following schedule:
Period 1: 10-10:35
Period 2: 10:40-11:15
Period 3: 11:20-11:55
Period 4: 12:00-1:05
Period 5: 1:10-1:45
Period 6: 1:50-2:25
Period 7: 2:30-3:10
There will be no travel to CCHS and no morning Prosser. Junior Prosser students will arrive to South at 11:55 for lunch, or 12:25 for class. Senior Prosser will still leave at 10:10. Please be safe getting to school tomorrow!
SHCSC will have a two hour delay on Monday, February 17, 2025.
Prosser is doing asynchronous learning this Friday, February 14th for teacher professional development. Assignments will be posted and students will complete them on their own time. Juniors will need to be back at South Central at 11:05 for lunch, or 11:35 for class. Seniors may sign out after 2nd block.
Tomorrow, 2/11, will be a synchronous E-Learning day. This means students will need to log into google classroom for live instruction, each class period.

At 5 PM we shared an important update regarding the South Central campus closure & next steps for tomorrow via email and SHCSC Rooms. Please check your email or the latest announcement in your building room for the information. Thank you.
As of 12:45 PM all buses are back at South Central and every student was dropped off at their homes or designated after-school location. The decision regarding tomorrow will be made in a few hours and shared with families this evening.
Eighth grade students from Corydon Central Jr. High and South Central Jr./Sr. High learned about each of our career pathways from current pathway students and instructors. They were able to get a sneak peak of classrooms, preview material they will be learning and hear testimonials of past students landing internships and jobs in the workforce after graduating!
Prosser open house is tonight (1/30/25) at 5:30-7pm. Please go check out their facility and see all they have to offer. Prosser applications will be due at the end of February!
Brrrr....it's gonna be a cold one! We will be following our 2 hour delay schedule again tomorrow, Wednesday, 1/22.
Prosser has not yet called a delay. They may in the morning. If they do not have a delay, Prosser Juniors will be excused (we will not provide transportation). Prosser Juniors can come to school at 12:00 for lunch or 12:30 for class. Prosser seniors will check in to first period and report to their bus. If Prosser is on a delay, the only difference will be a google meet for Juniors in the AM. There will be NO travel to CCHS.

Prosser is not in session on Monday, 1/20. Juniors can come in for lunch at 11:20 or class at 11:50. Seniors will stay for their morning classes and may sign out to leave during their scheduled Prosser time.
