We have been able to work out the conflicts created by the rescheduling of the sixth grade Holiday World trip. The sixth grade volleyball camp has been changed to Tuesday. The junior high cheerleading coach is aware that our students will not be attending on Thursday. They are still able to tryout if they attend Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday.

Due to the threat of severe weather, our 6th grade Holiday World trip has been rescheduled for May 22nd. We are aware of conflicts with cheer and volleyball. We will work through those today and get more information out as soon as possible.

The Harrison County Visitor's Bureau visited our 4th grade classes today! Students learned how visitors impact our local economy and played a game about our local attractions and history. Fourth grade students visited historic downtown Corydon this week. They toured the First State Capitol, Governor Hendrick's house, Zimmerman Art Glass & the Harrison Co. Discovery Center. It was a great way to step back in time and learn about our state and local history!
Fourth grade students have been learning about the Indy 500! Thanks to a mobile trip provided by the 500Festival, students were able to experience many race day themed stations. These included budgeting a race car team, learning about driver safety equipment, race day flags and traditions, IndyCar careers, the science behind an IndyCar and more! They are ready for Race Day!
