Save the Dates! Our Fall Book Fair is happening Sept 12 - 16, with preview days the week before. The Fair will be open during Parent Teacher Conferences so plan to shop before or after your conference. As always, every purchase raises money to buy new books for our school. See you at the Fair!

5th grade is 5-6:30 and 6th grade is 3:30-5. You must have a physical on file to tryout. Please bring a water bottle. Tryouts are not open to parents.

Mrs. Ground's class read Freckle Juice by Judy Blume last week. In the story, Andrew follows a recipe hoping to get freckles. After we finished the book, we followed a recipe and made fruit salad! Students cut up the fruit, and when it was all mixed together, we tried it!

Got to SHCSC website and scroll down to Family Resources. Once you click on that go to Volunteer Background Check Website. You will need a credit card to pay for the background check. Any questions, call the office.
Permanent change to the lunch menu- Whole grain cookies will be switched with apple slices and caramel. Cookies will be on cook's choice weeks and apples and caramel will be on pizza days
Any 6th grade boy interested in Tennis, please meet at the Tennis Courts Monday-Thursday. Practice is from 3:30-5PM. You must have a school physical on file in order to participate. If you have any questions, please email Coach Nick Keith at keithn@shcsc.k12.in.us.
