October 31st is the last day to complete your background check for the 2023-2024 school year. If there is a chance you will want to volunteer or chaperone any school event, you must have a current background check on file. You may access the background check form on the CIS website.
If you missed out or if you need another sheet, we have extra PTO Fundraiser Big Ticket Savings Cards in the office. They are $20 and they are so worth it! Every business on the card is Corydon local. Corydon Cinemas, Rita's, Zaxby's, Bagel Girls, Culvers, Lazy Cow, Arby's, The Farmhouse Kitchen, Lee's Chicken, Pizza King, Golf Shores Fun Center, and Corydon HS Sports. Experation on each ticket on the Card expires 12/31/2024 with the exception of Corydon Sports. Let me take this one step more, the Corydon High School buy 1 ticket for entry get one, we will honor it for home games at CIS!!! The 5th and 6th grade girls have their first basketball game on tonight. The gate fee is $3 for adults and $1 for students . Under 5 is free. Come support the Lady Panthers! CIS students who wear black and gold tonight will get in free!!!!

Kids will earn a prize for selling just 1 card!! They earn additional prizes at 5 cards and for every 10 cards they sell, they are entered to win a FREE movie pass to the Corydon Cinemas! The class that sells the most in the school will earn an ice cream party!

The cross country team came home with two wins from the Salem Invitational Tuesday night. The boy's team won with Lennon Ehlers receiving a ribbon for 11th place and Avi Combs receiving a medal for placing 7th. The girls team also won the meet. Earning a medal was Eva Gay for placing 8th and Mila Leghart received a plaque for placing 4th. Great Job Panthers!
